Label Design Software

LabelView — design once, print anywhere

A browser-based, drag-and-drop label designer built for the whole platform. Lay out text, barcodes, QR codes and images on a WYSIWYG canvas, bind fields to your product and carton data, save reusable templates — and print to any label printer through the XileitPrintBridge. Nothing to install on the workstation.

Visual WYSIWYG designer

Drag, drop, snap and align on a real-scale canvas — text, barcodes, QR, images, lines and boxes, all in the browser.

Bound to your data

Drop in fields like {product_name} or {weight} and LabelView merges live product & carton data at print time.

Prints anywhere

The XileitPrintBridge sends your design straight to network label printers — from any browser, on Windows, macOS or Linux.

The designer

Design labels visually, pixel-accurate

Work on a true-to-size canvas with a grid, zoom from 100% to 400%, and snap-to-align guides. Add any element, set its properties, multi-select to align and distribute, and undo/redo freely — exactly what ends up on the label is what you see.

  • Text, barcode, QR, image, line & box
  • Drag, drop & snap-to-grid
  • Multi-select, align & distribute
  • Zoom 100–400% with grid
  • 9-point anchor positioning
  • Undo, copy, paste & duplicate
  • Direct thermal or thermal transfer
  • 203 / 300 / 600 DPI, any label size

One template, every product

Design a label once with placeholder tags, and LabelView fills them from the live product or carton record at print time. Preview with example data while you design, then print the real thing — no re-typing, no re-designing per product.

  • Placeholder tags on any element
  • Example data for test prints
  • GS1 barcodes with merged weight & date
  • Reusable across products & lines
  • Template library in folders
  • Duplicate, rename & track changes

XileitPrintBridge

From the browser to the printer

Browsers can't talk to label printers directly. The XileitPrintBridge is a tiny local helper that runs on the workstation and forwards your print job to the network printer — securely, over the loopback address only. The designer auto-detects it and offers a one-file download if it's missing.

  • Loopback-only for security
  • Auto-detected by the web app
  • Windows, macOS & Linux
  • Single self-contained download
  • Direct TCP to network printers
  • Also export code, .txt or .xld

Barcodes, images and more

Every common barcode

CODE128 (A/B/C), CODE39/93, EAN-13/8, UPC-A/E, Interleaved 2/5, Codabar, GS1 DataBar, QR, Data Matrix, PDF417 and MaxiCode — with human-readable text.

Images, auto-optimised

Upload colour or greyscale artwork and LabelView converts it to crisp 1-bit monochrome for the printer, resized to fit the label.

Template library

Save, organise in folders, duplicate and rename templates — with creator and last-edited tracking, all kept per company.

Portable .xld files

Export and import designs as .xld files to move templates between sites or keep them under version control.

Companies, users & roles

Multi-company support with isolated label libraries, Admin/User roles and secure sign-in — assign the right people to the right labels.

Web-based, nothing to install

Runs in any modern browser, so designers work from anywhere — only the small print bridge lives on the workstation.
