The Landings Module

xFGR — weigh-in & grading at the Licensed Fish Receiver

One touch-screen workstation for fish receival, wired to your scales, label printers and the IKA Results database. It adapts to what's on the truck with three purpose-built modes — standard finfish, premium tuna, and bulk lobster & crayfish.

Normal weigh-in Tuna mode Lobster / crayfish

At the point of unload

Capture every delivery as it lands — truck, FLD, fisher, vessel, port and catch date, all confirmed on screen.

Scales & printers built in

Live weight straight off your scales over serial or IP, with barcode labels and dockets to network thermal printers.

Straight into inventory

Every lot writes to the IKA Results database with full traceability — grade, weight, tag and location for downstream processing.

1Normal Fish Landing Weigh-in

Standard finfish, weighed and graded fast

The default mode for everyday finfish receival. Tare a bin, drop the fish on the scale, tap the species — and xFGR grades it by weight, records the quality and prints a labelled lot in one motion.

  • Truck & FLD confirmation on entry
  • Live scale weight & container tare
  • Automatic product grade by weight range
  • Fat / condition & quality grading
  • Temperature & iced / de-iced state
  • Fisher, vessel, port & catch date
  • Barcode labels & weight dockets
  • Recall / reprint & protected undo

2Tuna Mode

Every premium fish, tagged & graded individually

For high-value tuna and swordfish, xFGR records each fish on its own. A unique tag ties one barcode to that fish's length, fat, colour, shape and condition — so every premium lot carries its full grading story from receival onward.

  • Unique tag / serial per fish
  • Per-fish length recording
  • Fat, colour & shape grades
  • Swordfish condition grading
  • Packaging state (whole / gutted / loined)
  • Editable grid — one row per fish
  • Reprint / edit a single tag
  • Configurable field clearing between fish

3Lobster / Crayfish · Reverse Weighing & Grading

Grade by weight-off, straight into the right bin

Built for bulk shellfish. Instead of weighing each lobster, xFGR watches the source bin: as lobsters are lifted out and graded, it reads the drop in weight, matches it to a grade, and records that lot into the chosen dolav — no manual grade picking, far more throughput.

  • Weight-drop (reverse) detection
  • Automatic grade by weight range
  • 39 dolav / bin locations, live status
  • Optional fisher confirmation for traceability
  • Move, delete & reject bin contents
  • Pallet / dolav labels for the warehouse
  • Stock, non-stock & inventory-only modes
  • Eel variant on the same workflow
